Comments

  1. I found my phone missing once, only to discover it hidden in my kid’s underwear…while she was wearing them. 🙁

  2. Oh my god this is amazing!! And hilarious. If I didn’t know you I would totally think this is fake. Now, I just want it!

  3. Ha! I was so excited to comment before I didn’t read through the contest part. I have not one horror story but rather a daily battle to keep it out of all those places on your video-water, fridge, kids sticky hands.

  4. I love the video! So funny and so true! Great job! Fortunately, I haven’t had any cell phone nightmares. The closest I’ve been is driving the 30 minutes all the way back to work on a Friday afternoon to see if I had left my cell phone on my desk (I can’t go the whole weekend without my phone!) only to find that it was with me all the time at the bottom of my cluttered purse!

  5. I dropped my phone in the toilet once. That was the grossest thing EVER.

  6. I had to install Find My iPhone on my phone because my 4yo son plays with it all the time, and I never know where he leaves it! In fact, the scene where you poured out all the toys looks VERY familiar. 🙂 Anyway, the app allows you to log in on your PC (or another iPhone, if you have one), and launch a loud piercing beacon call from your phone, whether the volume is on or not. Genius, I tell you! And totally necessary in this household.

  7. I “liked” your video on YouTube and left you a comment there!

  8. I subscribe via RSS (but would super duper love if I could get it via email). 😉

  11. My cellphone horror story was at blogher. I had an extra heavy case on it because it had a charger in it. I dropped the phone and it landed face down really hard on the roof of a restaurant. Completely SHATTERED.

  13. The scratch resistant coating is my fave feature. I currently have multiple scratches in the glass of my phone.

  15. Following all of the requested on twitter 🙂

  16. I knocked my phone directly into a glass of water one time, won’t be blaming that one on the kids, no splash, no tip of the cup, just slid right in and died. RIP

  18. Oh, I have a GOOD story. In January, I was watching my oldest daughter compete at a high school swim meet. She was just about to go up to dive and I bent down to get my camera. My brand new phone, which had been on my lap, fell….from my balcony seat 10 feet below onto the tile pool deck. The other swimmers handed me back the pieces of my phone, one by one. Amazingly, when I put it back together, it worked!

  20. I LOVE your video! I gave it a thumbs up on Youtube!

  21. I left a comment on your review post, but I’ll say it again – the fact that this phone is both drop-proof and water proof is a huge advantage for me. I might not be so worried about letting my 5 handle it. 🙂

  22. I liked your video on YouTube! You did a great job and showcased the product well.

  23. Shattered the screen on my last phone when I kicked it off the counter top. And how did it fall off the counter top? Because I was standing on the counter to change out the lights and stepped on my phone. Thought it was a scorpion (b/c I would normally have scorpions on my counter top, NOT), freaked out and kicked it. Because that’s genius!

  24. Commented on your review! Sold me on this phone!

  25. I tweeted about your giveaway on 4/25. – https://twitter.com/#!/saving4someday/status/195216026059800577

  26. I have yet to have a major catastrophe with my own phone…all issues have been tech related, and most of my phones usually die of old age (I kid you not).

My HUBBY, however, has not been so lucky. He and a friend went out fishing, and their boat broke down, so he called in Vessel Assist. They towed him back to the landing, but somehow, as they were getting the boat up to the landing, they lost control of THEIR boat, and hubby had to jump in the water and in between the VA boat and his, in order to prevent them ramming his boat with theirs. All said and done, he was bruised and battered, and his wallet and phone were wasted. No amount of fresh water rinsing and letting it dry out in a bag of rice would recover that one.

  27. I liked the video! But honestly, I LOVED the video!

  30. SUN, SAND, AND SALT-PROOF!!! And of course, water-proof! Being in San Diego, we spend a lot of time on/in/near the ocean, in the sunshine, where sand is guaranteed to sneak its way into EVERYTHING you own!

I don’t think I could pick just one if my life depended on it! There are too many awesome pros to this phone!

  31. Michelle H. says:

I was waiting for a call from my mom and hubby and I went outside to clean out my car. I thought I had put the phone on the picnic table while we were working but instead it was in the pocket of my hoodie. I was vacuuming with the wet/dry vac and hubby was waxing the car. Everything was fine except I never heard my husband yelling at me and when I backed up with the vacuum, I stepped right on my cell phone that had fallen out of my pocket onto the driveway. If it wasn’t shattered before, it sure was now.

I read your review: I like that it has Corning Gorilla Glass…I scratch anything glass. The optometrist just yelled at me about leaving my glasses face-down all the time. It would be nice not to have a scratchy screen on my phone.

  38. I was riding a ride at the fair and my brand new iphone slipped out of my pocket (I know it was stupid to take it on the ride). The fall caused my glass to break on my iphone. I did not have insurance, so I had to get another phone.
