Saturday Morning at the Farmers Market

I love, love, LOVE having access to the freshest, most beautiful produce stateside. Year round. Rain or shine. And so does my camera…

I thought finickly-grown organic produce, fresh pasteries, and homemade bread were things I had to leave behind in England.

Of course, this IS Northern California… Fresh tofu, anyone? It was just made this morning.

Opps! Sorry. You’ll have to wait until next weekend. I swiped the last block today… along with a bag of kettle corn, fresh olive oil, and some blood oranges.

I haven’t had blood oranges or fresh olive oil since I was studying in Rome my sophomore year of college. Both are definitely a worth a trip back… and by that I mean a trip back to the farmers market and a vacation in Italy.

Chances are I’ll be at the farmers market instead of Italy next Saturday, but a girl can dream, right?
