A FUN and delightful project started my friend and fellow Mama Manifesto blogger, Heather Mattos of Cookie Mondays
Take a photo every hour for ten consecutive hours on the tenth of each month. Document a day of your life and find beauty among the ordinary moments!
The idea is to collect a whole day’s worth of photos– capturing simple, everyday moments and recording them. A day in the life.
I shot mine a day earlier as part of a compilation on Mama Manifesto. I had a meeting in the middle of the day, so I missed a few hours. But otherwise, this is what an ordinary day looks like to my camera.
9 am: Uncovering my husband’s little quirks. Pile of *clean* laundry, folded and ready to be put away. Naturally, he puts it right back in the basket… Also, the portrait he was promised to hang a week ago. (ahem)
10 am: Somehow I’ve convinced my kids that Whole Foods is a destination. It’s currently their favorite place to be.
11 am: … and do you blame them? Still at Whole Foods. Perusing the selection of Thanksgiving cupcakes.
12 pm: Our backyard. The persimmon harvest
4pm: Storytime
5pm: Working on a wish list
6 pm: Precious cargo
I don’t think I’ve ever eating a persimmon. Let alone grown one. Must try this. Oh, and the pics thing is a great idea too!
Aw, I love this idea. I tried to do it to, in October, but after 11 a.m. I forgot and then I just stopped. Lovely pictures!
I love yours! What a fun day! The wish list idea is great. I am going to have to try that next year when Lydia Grace is a bit older. He is cutting out the things he wants, right?
