I’ve search my local Babies R’Us high and low to find every manner of teething implement for Lou.
Yet, I continually find her chewing on these….
Sense the repulse tone? It’s because these are Scout’s SMELLY, DIRTY, DISGUSTING Crocs! (Vomit.)
The first time it happened, I screamed out in horror, washed out her mouth, and immediately purchased another fifty clean and colorful nubby-edge toys for her to gum. Each and every one to be petulantly tossed aside at the sight of those ugly orange monstrosities.
I put them away. They come back out. I leave them outside. I find them under the kitchen table. I banish them to the car. Someone cleans out the trunk.
I spend my whole day putting away the same pair shoes over and over again! I can’t take it anymore!
If she wants to chew on a dirty Croc so badly, I’m just going to have to be okay with it.
It must be a dirty shoe thing. I keep finding Tommy (just him and not his brother) chewing on my favorite flip flops and they aren’t even chewy. They have a hard base which is is favorite part to chew on.

Yes….you just have to be okay with it. I gave up a long time ago. Good news, she really hasn’t been sick:)

On the upside, at least she’s not playing in the garbage. When my kiddos were little, it didn’t matter where I took them…all they were interested in was the garbage can. Drove me NUTS!

This makes me sad for 2 reasons. First…Alexa lost not ONE but TWO Sophies!!!!!!!!!!!! I loved that stupid giraffe 🙁 Second, she chewed on anything but teething toys for the first year. We have a ton!
