In celebration of (or perhaps in dreading) Back to School, the team at Splash Creative Media is launching “Fill the Backpack”, a collaborative effort to share the fantastic brands and causes that help parents and kids get ready for school. This is our second year we’re doing it, and it’s even bigger and better than before!

This isn’t just an ordinary giveaway though. It’s also a way for Splash Creative Media to give back. 10% of our net profits are going to our nonprofit beneficiary, Communities in Schools. This year my main involvement at our schools will be sending in donations/financial support when needed, and probably showing some school spirit in attending some football games. Otherwise, it’s VERY hard for me to get inside the school or classrooms to volunteer.

The school year can be a little daunting for me with 3 kids in 3 different schools. I join each PTA. I volunteer in the classroom for my youngest. For the middle I volunteer for the charity basketball tournament. For the oldest I contribute to fundraisers, etc. I’ll do the same this year.

My daughter has yet to start school, but as a SAHM I plan on volunteering my time and energy into her school. I want her experience to be wonderful and successful. My Mom volunteered when I was a child, so I want to do the same for my own children.

Every year I make it a point to join the PTA. I always make sure that my son attends all PTA sponsored events. Both of these are a great way of getting involved and supporting the PTA at your child’s school.

Every year the local high school has a haunted house fundraiser in October to raise money for prom, I help out with the decorations and setting up for the haunted house, it takes a lot of volunteers!

I love volunteering for my kid’s school. I have signed up to volunteer in the school library, labels for education collection, I also signed up for the parent association to collect used uniforms. I can’t wait to help out. Always fun!

I not only plan but have already started helping our local elementary school we are now doing a fund raiser for the lions club collecting eye wear changing lives one pair at a time if we collect the most her 4th grade class wins a party and school supplies for her class.

I also collect daily box tops not only from the store but I enter daily online to get more why do I care so much our children deserve the best not only my children but every child the state where I live have cut back so many programs our children dont even have music or art which I feel is needed their gym is only recess not a real phys ed teacher I am doing what I can to help in every little way I can and if we all can help little or big it all helps ty @waterbluffy
