I bought Lou a busy ball popper and within moments of its arrival in our home, Scout turned it into a cannon… because that’s what boys do.
I was hesitant, but Lou was intrigued and Scout was determined. So I let it go on.
Well, she LOVED it!
LOVED it! They both did!
After they had played this way for a while, I asked Scout to show her how it’s supposed to work.
Because he’s a super big brother and all-around good-natured kid, he obliged. However, his little sister was less impressed by this.
She insisted that it go back to being cannon and a cannon it had remained.

We bought one of those for my son for Christmas. It was amusing for the first few days, but now all my kids do is take the balls out and throw them around. Of course, I’m the one who has to go find them.

We had one of those disgusting primary colored alphabet mats for Scout It was covered in teeth marks since he used to chew on it all the time… you know, because he could. The wood look-alike appears to be less appetizing 🙂
